As a urologist, Dr. Bretan is highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but since a wide variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.

CMA & AMA Physician Labeling

My father’s surgeon’s simple act of kindness to try something that had never been tried to save his life made him my lifelong hero and inspiration. I knew I could never repay that act but I could attempt to pay it forward ….. The rest of my life……………I know that I would not have developed into the complete, confident surgeon I am today without that act because I know what it is to be on the receiving end of a lifesaving act. I stand before you as living proof of this profound ripple effect. If you have lost connection with this vital passion, join or support me and the CMA on one of these future missions and find your soul and motivation that has fueled me lifelong……………and save lives! Help me make this our leading label for the CMA, the AMA, and our profession, as it is a fundamental rationale to preserve access of care…………and no one can argue with that rationale!
